Tectonic shifts in perspective from songwriting to producing have unleashed an unsustainable and eventually dead end streak of manipulating sounds rather than those found in the more common organization of thoughts prior to recording. In other words, my improvisation and focus on production is severely limiting my growth as a songwriter… so this will be one of my last improv releases for awhile.
This is a melancholy set of tunes to be listened to while lying on the floor in between speakers with eyes closed. It was recorded in Raleigh, NC from February 5, 2009 to February 8, 2009 using a 1998 Gibson SG.

The following video was shot while recording “minus.” I use a long delay effect from an Akai Headrush E2 in order to play a few notes and then build upon them.
